Cockatiels for Sale
At Royal Wings Aviary we handfeed all of our baby birds. We have baby cockatiels in the nest boxes and some that are recently weaned.
Normally we have white face cinnamon pied, white face cinnamon pearl, white face gray pearl, white face cinnamon pied, white face gray pied, and gray pied cockatiels available, as well as occasional lutinos and albinos.

The white face pearls go fast, so I would recommend a deposit. We do have 2 babies in one of the nestboxes, but they are only 2 days old, so I don’t know what color they will be for sure. The mother is a white face grey pearl and the father is a beautiful pied. The white faces we had from both white face parents are already sold. Let me know what you want to do. Thank you very much. Our whiteface grey (white strips on the wings flew away on past Friday. His 12 years companion is very depressed and is losing weight. We are in urgent need for a replacement. I was wondering if you ever get Dominate silver white face tiels.

Most breeders don’t ship cockatiels due to night frights, however I could possibly drive to get them. further more when is the earliest your baby hand feds be ready? the earliest I could do would be around May 20th-27th depending on when our new cage comes in. I have hand fed and reared cockatiels in the past, and now have children where bird love born to them in their blood, matter of factly my daughters first word was ‘birdie’. They are at the age now where I want to suprise them and teach them. Growing up hand feeding cockatiels were from big box petstores- now as an adult and recent publicized abuse scandals I only want to go to a reputable breeder.

I had a male tiel many years ago that was not hand fed, not sure even how old he was when I got him (was a gift), and he was not friendly to anyone but me (that was maybe half the time though), or very trainable. So, I’ve obviously been a tad hesitant about owning another one, but hoping that if I find the right breeder & ask all the correct questions, I might have a more positive experience next time since he/she will be a part of my family for years to come! 🙂

I had to put my 29.5 year old cockatiel down today. He had a tumor in his chest. He was older than 3 of my 4 kids. He kept fighting to stay alive, he just didnt want to die. He even had a stroke this afternoon and was barely breathing. We were able to rush him to the vet. They put him in the oxygen chamber and it helped for a little bit. It was such a heartbreaking experience, but it was the right thing for him. I had him for more than half my life, and he will always hold a huge place in my heart <3
I know I will get another bird sometime in the future, I just dont know how long it will take before I am ready.
